HEATHER CASSILS

Heather Cassils is a Canadian interdisciplinary artist. Her work has been shown internationally, among other places, at the White Chapel in London, Manifesta, MUCA Roma, Ex-Teresa Arte Actual Mexico City, the Center for Performance Research in NYC, and Art Basel Miami Beach in Florida. She is a founding member of the Los Angeles-based performance group Toxic Titties.  In 2010, she received the Franklin Furnace Fund for Performance Art. She has also received numerous prestigious grants from the Canada Council of the Arts and was recently featured in OUT magazine’s notorious Top 100 list.
