Milijana Babić

Milijana Babic (1974) is a visual and performance artist based in Rijeka, Croatia. She graduated in sculpture at the Durban Institute of Technology, Durban, Republic of South Africa (2002) and received her MA at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design, Ljubljana, Slovenia (2007). She is a member of the Croatian Freelance Artists Association and the Croatian Association of Visual Artists in Rijeka and Zagreb. Since 2004, she has collaborated in the organisation & execution of the International Festival of Contemporary Arts – City of Women, Ljubljana. Since 2007, she has worked as an associate assistant professor at the Department of Sculpture, Academy of Applied Arts, Rijeka. Her work has been presented in numerous exhibitions and festivals in Croatia, South Africa, Slovenia, Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Spain and Estonia.
