About artist / group:

Canadian musician Wendy McNeill developed her artistic expression under the influence of her family’s vast variety of music genres; from old country and folk records to Pink Floyd, Supertramp and Black Sabbath albums. She directed her interest in various artistic forms (photography, poetry and contemporary dance) to studies at an arts college, where she began to write compositions and developed several multimedia projects. Winning a song writing competition gave Wendy the opportunity to record her first album, To Whom It May Concern, followed by participation at various folk festivals. At one of these festivals McNeill fell in love with the sound of the accordion and added it to her musical universe.
Wendy McNeill has recorded five albums, contributed her music to independent film, dance and theatre productions, been showcased on a number of compilation cds and toured throughout USA, Europe, Brazil and Japan. (Based on McNeill’s website)
