Dream's Gate (Darvazeye royaha)

A young Iranian filmmaker sets off on a personal journey to the war zone of North Syria to explore what it means to be a woman. She decides to search for the answers to her questions with her camera among Kurdish female fighters, who embody the most potent contemporary myth of female power and freedom. Her personal exploration in the maelstrom of brutal conflicts develops into an intimate sketch of a woman in the first person.
